ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Catherine D’Agostino grew up in West Seneca, NY. She worked as a journalist for small-town newspapers before beginning a 32-year career teaching English and literature to middle and high school students in western New York and the Finger Lakes Region. Her early success in screenwriting preceded the release of her first novel in May 2023.

March 2024: The Lake Shore Center for the Arts selected D'Agostino's one-act play --  Internal Suspension  -- as a finalist in its Second Annual Juicebox Organic One-Act Play Competition. It will be performed on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at The Lake Shore Center for the Arts, 49 S. Portage Street, Westfield, NY 14787. Ticket prices and performance times will be posted sooner than later.
